what I do
I help people shape their vision and tell the right story — across brand, messaging, and design.
Sometimes that means building a website.
Or a keynote. A campaign. A brand book.
Or crafting a message that clicks.
I bring clarity where it’s cloudy,
and energy where things feel stuck.

Smart Creative Solutions
Clear thinking, bold imagery, and original ideas.
Pomegranate & Co. – Studio Website
Crafted a distinct, editorial-style studio site for a modern design practice — built to attract smart, design-curious clients. Balanced bespoke visuals, confident messaging, and a breezy Squarespace build to show what thoughtful web design can do.

Cars – Launching Pixar’s Next Big Thing
Crafted the teaser, story trailer, and full AV campaign for one of Pixar’s most iconic IPs. The teaser — a clever send-up of a car commercial — broke formula and won the Golden Trailer Award. Brought in early, I met with Pixar’s senior team and helped steer a campaign that earned their trust and set the tone for a billion-dollar franchise.
Scope: Teaser, Story Trailer, AV Campaign, Studio Relations
Amulet App — A Singular Digital Object
Invented, designed, and built a standalone iOS app that transformed a physical crystal into a sleek digital experience. From pitch deck to launch, led creative and UX — including daily “intentions,” reminders, and sound design. Published on the Apple App Store.

Distinct Tone + Style
Deliberate by design — in tone, feel, and execution.
AlanVooHouse – Architecture With A Pulse
A website for the house I built with architect Neil Denari — now an icon in its own right. Bold, unmistakable, and constantly evolving, the home reflects decades of family life, aesthetic decisions, and shifting needs. I designed the site during lockdown as both archive and celebration: part brand, part moodboard, part monument. Built in collaboration with Neil Denari. Featured in The New York Times for its architectural significance.
Scope: Concept, Copywriting, Design, Build
“Unfortunate Events – Building a World Before the World Was Built”
Led strategy and creative for the Nickelodeon Movies campaign — starting a year out from release. The tone, look, and sell all stemmed from a deep read of the books, conversations with the author, and an instinct for what would connect with both fans and new audiences. I developed a series of character-focused pieces using unused footage, original narration, and a graphic system that elevated the material. The result was stylish, offbeat, and emotionally precise. Studio execs and producers used my work to reorient their own campaigns — and I was later hired to create character sequences for the film.
Scope: Strategy, Concept, Direction, Scriptwriting, Visual Language
Awards: Promax & Key Art Nominee / Winner
NFT Collection – Fertility Doll Series
A digital extension of Fertility Doll, the fine art project by Rhonda Voo exploring reproductive freedom and personal agency. Created during a cultural reckoning around gender and power, the collection used the NFT format not for hype, but to expand the work’s reach — translating ancient iconography into a digital medium rooted in feminist intent, symbolic depth, and contemporary art practice.
Scope: Concept, Visual Variations, Writing, Release Strategy
strategic intelligence
Shaping the work to come — decoding the patterns, aligning the purpose, and setting a foundation for everything that follows.
SpongeBob SquarePants – Making an Icon
Launched the original SpongeBob SquarePants series with a self-authored campaign strategy: “Make SpongeBob A Star.” Created the very first spot introducing the character to audiences, then expanded the tone and approach to support the theatrical release — reframing the campaign as “Make SpongeBob a Movie Star.” Built a year-long rollout that moved from awareness to urgency, with original animation, live-action integration, and demo-targeted spots airing across MTV, VH1, BET, and Nickelodeon. Designed and presented the full campaign to both Paramount and Nickelodeon execs — often outpacing the studio’s own internal materials.
Scope: Campaign Strategy, Direction, Writing, Creative Development, Network Rollout
DEG Keynote White Paper – Reframing the Future
Brought in to help reposition DEG (Digital Entertainment Group) for a shifting media landscape, I wrote the full keynote presentation for the organization’s president — aimed at a high-level audience of studio, streamer, and network executives. Founded in the DVD era, DEG faced a relevance crisis. My task was to help reestablish its voice and purpose.
Through deep research, cultural pattern analysis, and a bold reframing of the narrative, I delivered a forward-looking keynote designed to spark fresh engagement and industry respect. Later revised to reflect the impact of COVID on streaming trends, the piece blended strategic insight with a clear, confident POV — built to make the speaker, and the brand, land with authority.
Scope: Strategy, Voice, Research, Writing, Thought Leadership
Medallia – Human-Centered Brand Refresh
Helped reposition a SaaS company known for analytics into a brand people could genuinely feel. Led a speculative refresh that reimagined Medallia as a more emotional, more expressive, more human platform. Delivered a full tone overhaul, visual redesign, and brand story that invited people in — with characters, color, and warmth.
Scope: Brand Strategy, Campaign Ideation, Copywriting, Visual Concepting, Experiential Mockups
